The names of Pinguely and Haulotte figure in construction industry history for around 100 years. Named after their owners, respectively, Alexandre Pinguely and Athur Haulotte, both companies were innovators and leaders in their fields, which began with the construction of locomotives at the beginning of the 20th century, and adapting to market needs evolved into the manufacture of diggers, mobile cranes and derricks.
Collaboration between Pinguely and Haulotte began in the late 1970s with the joint construction of a mobile crane model. Under new joint ownership, both companies grow to new successes, becoming world market leaders in aerial work platforms.
In 2005, Pinguely and Haulotte were renamed as the Haulotte Group, and operate in 100 countries with subsidiaries, worldwide.
Today, Pinguely and Haulotte, or the Haulotte Group specialise in the design and manufacture of a whole range of lifting equipment, telehandlers and earth moving equipment, including: scissor lifts, telescopic booms, truck-mounted booms, backhoe loaders...
