A telescopic boom lift is a type of aerial work platform used extensively by shipyards, construction, maintenance and demolitions sites. It is a lifting device consisting of elongating booms or arms allowing access to work areas at varying heights and hard to reach surfaces.
Telescopic booms are relatively compact and adaptable to different mobile applications. The typical features of a quality telescopic boom may include full turntable rotation, standard 4-wheel drive, ground clearance for rough terrain capability, full proportional controls and hydraulic platform rotation.
Haulotte International, part of the Haulotte Group, is the number one in Europe and one of the worldwide leading manufacturers of lifting equipment, including a wide range of telescopic booms, articulated and vertical booms, scissor lifts and truck mounted platforms.
The Haulotte telescopic booms provide a working height range from 14 to 43 metres, a maximum platform weight capacity up to 450kg and an outreach of 20m, depending on the model and specific customer requirements.
